Christmas Card Competition 2011

TICKETS For Troops is getting in the festive spirit with the return of the Christmas Card Competition. The charity is enlisting the help of the marvellous armed forces to design their 2011 Christmas card.

The winning Christmas card in 2010, picked by patron Lorraine Kelly, saw a team of Santa's battling it out with troops in a "Festive tug-o-war".

This year not only will the winner receive some fantastic tickets, every entrant will receive a free Tickets For Troops wristband. The winning entry will also be posted on Facebook, Twitter and the Tickets For Troops home page (www.ticketsfortroops.org.uk), and sent out as an e-card to our 100,000 members.

To enter, simply post your picture on the Tickets For Troops Facebook page (www.facebook.com/ticketsfortroops) or send your entries to Christmas@ticketsfortroops.org.uk. A celebrity judge will then choose the winner as well as revealing the prize.

Tickets For Troops Director Raleigh Addington said: "Christmas is a time for family and we want everyone to get involved in the competition. Members are welcome to submit entries from their children, families and friends. Whether it is from a Christmas event, a scene from combat, or even at a Tickets For Troops event, troops are encouraged to discover their artistic side."

"We see the fantastic work the members of our armed forces do each day, now we want to see if they have any hidden talents. Last year we had some amazing entries, but we want this year to be even bigger and better! We are looking for troops to get creative, the more variety the better."
