Christmas Carol Vorderman Picks Tickets For Troops Christmas Card Winner

TICKETS FOR TROOPS are delighted to announce the winner of their 2011 Christmas Card Competition.

1 - Winner

After some fantastic entries, the final three were chosen with the eventual winner coming from Tracy Richardson, entitled 'QDG boys at their best.' The photo was taken by Craig Humphreys from the QDG B Squadron in Afghanistan.

Loose Women presenter and Forces Favourite Carol Vorderman, who was asked to judge the competition said, "So many wonderful ideas sent in and it really wasn't easy to choose a winner.  BUT I've chosen this photo because I was on the train when I first looked at it on my computer and it made me laugh so much I was told off by the ticket inspector and half the people in the 'quiet carriage'..... oops!!  I particularly liked the tinsel leg warmers on the right!!"

The winning entry will be sent as an e-card to all the 100,000 members of Tickets For Troops and they will receive some VIP tickets. Both runners up will also receive a special prize.

2 - Kaylee Batt

Runners up included Kaylee Batt's moving entry which was a poignant image reminding us of those who will be missed this Christmas and an entry from Helen Pinkstone Cpl, Royal Army Medical Corps (RAMC) who sent in a fantastic drawing with the message, "Hope everyone everywhere has a great Christmas this year, and come home safe!"
