England v San Marino
THE FA has donated five hundred tickets to the military
charity, Tickets For Troops, for England's World Cup qualifier
match against San Marino at Wembley Stadium on Friday 12th
October.The members of the Armed Forces will include one hundred
from The Princess of Wales Royal Regiment who spent the summer
working at the Olympics and Paralympics.
This latest donation continues to strengthen the partnership
between The FA and Tickets For Troops which has helped thousands of
troops watch England matches at Wembley Stadium over the past two
years. The match is the third game in the qualifying stages for the
FIFA World Cup in Brazil 2014. The last time England played San
Marino, England won 7-1.

is a cause close to several of the England players, with John Terry
and Steven Gerrard both being Patrons. The England captain, Gerrard
said: "Young men and women are risking their lives every day and
Tickets for Troops is a very simple way of respecting their courage
and their sacrifices."
