Tickets For Troops have teamed up with Swansea County Council to enable troops to go to a variety of events at the Liberty Stadium this season. The Council have kindly donated tickets to every home match this season both for Swansea City Football Club and the Ospreys Rugby Club.
This will provide the opportunity for troops to see their local team in the Premier League for the first time. Swansea will be the first Welsh team to play in the Premier League having beaten Reading 4-2 in the play-off final at Wembley.
Due to the generosity of the Council troops will also be able to attend rugby matches at the Liberty Stadium and see the Ospreys in their attempt to win the newly named RaboDirect Pro 12 this season. This promises to be exciting with some of the top European teams from Ireland, Scotland, Wales and Italy all competing.
Tickets For Troops Chairman, Lord Marland said: "Tickets For Troops has benefited from a great wave of generosity from our ticket donors who have wanted to demonstrate their support and show their appreciation for the dedication and commitment of the marvellous men and women of our Armed Forces, enabling troops to support their local team."
